Sweet Birthday Wishes

 Good Tuesday afternoon. I'm here today with a card that I have just completed to link over to The Paper Players challenge. I pulled out my Mini Delight: One in a Melon stamp and die by Altenew to be able to play along with the Fruits and Berries challenge.

The products I used on this card are:

MFT Birthday Brights, Unknown Blue for the card, Neenah Solar White embossed with SU Dynamics Folder, MFT Sweet Sentiments, Inks; Memento Lady Bug, Altenews Jet Black, and Forest Glades. The layout I used is from the recent Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I was not able to enter this card on time but really liked the layout.

Hello Sweet Friend

 

Just popping in today with a card that I created for the CAS Colours&Sketches challenge for the week. I decided on the flower for this card from the Altenews Mini Poppies stamp set with matching die cuts. I haven't used this much and was wanting to give it a little "love".

 

Since I haven't bought Polished Pink called for, I substituted it with Magenta Madness and stamped it off once. I feel it comes fairly close to the color chosen. I'm unsure what company for the small hello, but the sentiment is from MFT's Well, Hello.

That will be it for today. Have a great weekend and are able to celebrate Fathers Day with the men in your life. I'm making dinner for my hubby and just wishing my great son-in-laws a happy one.

Masculine Birthday Card

 Today I'm actually linking a card! I haven't posted one since June 2nd. I had gotten involved with the continuing purging of my craft supplies and part of the attic, THEN I lost my MOJO.

Today's card is one that I will be linking over at CAS C&S sketch challenge, and Seize the Birthday. 

I chose the Sailing Home set by SU with it's its matching die cuts. I had just had a chance to do a card class with my SU Demo which we used this set.  I couldn't believe how long ago that I had used this.

It's a pretty straightforward card without much "fluff".  I used Bazzil textured red paper, MFT Stripe Splash, Neenah Solar White for the remainder of the card. The sentiment is from MFT Bitty Birthday Wishes.

That will be it for today except for watching a Montreal hockey game. Hopefully, I can get back to being crafty on a more regular schedule.

Happy Birthday

I'm here today posting a card that I will be linking over on Seize the Birthday and CAS on Friday

I pulled out an older SU stamp that was from Sale-A-Bration (2016?) I felt it fit with the challenge for Seize the Birthday and knew I could incorporate the color GREEN for the CAS challenge. I actually had fun creating and coloring it and will be using this stamp to make several more cards.

Let's Celebrate

 I'm here tonight posting a birthday card that I created for my son-in-law. When I was looking for some inspiration, I came across the challenge that The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe had posted. I decided to give it a try. I chose the section using Blue, Die-cut, & Embossing.

Well, I decided I couldn't live with the color and was alright with the placement.  

I am pretty much pleased with the layout, but I'm not with the YOU placement. I finally decided just to leave it as is.

Hello

I have no idea what happened with this post when I posted it yesterday. I have been having some problems with my Tablet so that could be the culprit. I'm will be using my PC today to repost it and see if that corrects the problem.

Big Slice of Happiness

 Good evening. I just finished a card this afternoon that will be put over at CAS on Friday.

The challenge was to create a card using a food item. I pulled out my MFT Die-namic, Piece of Cake which I haven't used in a while. I paired it up with a sentiment from MFT Big Birthday Sentiment which I haven't inked up before. The background paper is from the MFT Birthday Brights 6x6 pack which I had used chose for a card I created earlier today.  Altenews Pink Diamond cube was used for inking the sentiment.

That will be all for today. Our local hockey team, The Carolina Hurricanes will be on TV in about 45 minutes. I'll need to get settled in to watch the boys do their magic. GO CANES!
