I Love You...

Tonight I'm posting a card that I will link over at CAS Colours & Sketches for their sketch challenge. I'm still working on getting a little more proficient using MFT Brilliant Butterflies,  but feel I have a little more work to do.

On this card, I wanted to use the month of LOVE colors, Red and Pink. I used SU's Real Red and Altenew Pink Diamond cubes to stamp the butterflies main body and Versa Fine Black for the wings and sentiment. The sentiment is from MFT's Essential Sentiments stamp set.

I turned my card

That will be it for tonight. I'm off to watch TV. I'll be watching my favorite NHL Team the Carolina Hurricanes play tonight. I'm not much of a sports enthusiast, but I love  Hockey.

I hope you are staying safe and well. Thankfully we have only had rain,

no snow or ice here in our part of NC.

Enjoy your evening.

Blessings, Bernadette

Thanks A Bunch

Happy Wednesday! I just finished up a card that I will be posting over on CAS Colours & Sketches #406 which is a sketch challenge this week. I received this Altenew Mini Daisy stamp about a month ago but had not inked it up until today. I think it is a sweet small stamp that can be coloured using a variety of colours. I chose SU SO Saffron for the petals and Frayed Leaf by Altenew for the stems and leaves this time. The stitched oval is by SU and the sentiment is from MFT's Bitty Thanks & Gratitude. I know I will get good mileage from this stamp set.

I am not happy how the colours on this card photographed. The yellow on the flowers and the green on the leaves in person is darker. I will need to consider some kind of lightbox for better results.

That will be it for today.
I have another card that I'm working on and would like to finish it up.
Enjoy your day!

Blessings
Bernadette

Sending You Lots of Love

Just a quick stop by today. I finished up this card a few hours ago for posting over at CAS ON FRIDAY challenge #198 LOVE.

I pulled out a die that I had bought from Altenew quite a few months back and had not used. I do believe it is no longer available, but loved using it on this card and it fit the requirements of the challenge. I used SU paper for the base and the heart die, Neenah Solar White #110 for the insert, and embossed it with SU Subtle Textured 3D EF. The sentiment is one of the sentiments from the MFT Well Hello stamp and cut with the MFT Stitched Fishtail Sentiments Strips. I have decided to use this for a Birthday Card so while be stamping the inside with an appropriate stamp for that use.

That is about it for today. I need to start making supper for a hungry hubby!
Have a blessed and wonderful evening,
Blessings, Bernadette
