Just me, thinking of you

Just a quick drop in tonight. I just finished up a card that I will be linking over to Freshly Made Sketches and The Flower Challenge.

I keep this card fairly simple. I plan on making approximately 5 more to send to friends who live out of state. I decided I wanted to incorporate some of the new SU In Colors 2022. I selected one of the papers from Flowers For Every Season using it for the layer on  Neenah Solar White base.  I selected Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Just Jade for the flower pieces. The Die set is from MFT Stitched Flowers and for a little sparkle I used In Color Enamel Dots by SU.

Celebrate

Hello there. Just stopping by to post a card I just finished up for my Granddaughters 13th. birthday next Tuesday. I haven't inked up this stamp or used the dies that coordinated with it, but wanted to use it for her birthday.  This set is a great Birthday stamp to have, MFT's Make a Wish.

It took me some time to decide on a color combination but I finally decided on SU Lemon Lime Twist, white, and light purple. I  felt it was a fresh and fun color combination for a teenager. The candles are cut from a light purple glimmer paper that I had in my stash and the flames from the same pack in a golden yellow. I embossed a strip of Lucky Limade with a retired SU Stripped EF. The white area was cut using  MFT's  Stitched Scallop Basics and MFT Celebrate die.

Sending Prayers Your Way

Good Morning! I'm here posting a card that I finished up last night to post over on  The Flower Challenge #47. I had just received MFT's Peony Perfection stamp and thought this would be a good time to ink it up. SU's Ornate Garden Specialty DSP was used on a Terracotta base.I colored flower with Terracotta Tile using an Aqua Brush. Once the flower was dry, I used Wink of Stella to give it the sparkle it required. The sentiment is from MFT's Sending Prayers.

That's about it for now. I have a 13th.birthday card that needs to be made for my GD whose birthday is next week. Have a great day and stay safe and well.
