Well I'm back again today with a very interesting card. Interesting, you ask? I decided to creep slowly out of my comfort zone and enter the Merry Monday129 challenge and create a Neon Christmas card. Oh my, what a challenge, but I'm glad I went ahead and created one.
I also used the Sweet Sunday239 sketch. It seemed pretty straight forward and actually could be considered a Quick and Easy card. I'm definitely going to file this away in my sketch inspiration folder.
I did use a retired Stampin' Up DSP, Quatrefancy, retired stamp, More Merry Messages, and retired ribbon. I'm really glad I hung onto the paper and stamp set.
I stamped the images from Mosaic Madness onto the colored paper with Versa Mark ink, then used clear embossing powder and heat set them. The Mosaic punch made the job easy for adding the stamped/embossed images. ( Perfect Polka Dots EF ) Some bling was added and I was done!
That's about it for today. Our weekend will be a little laid back, although we to going to the Leucadia Farmers Market on Sunday after church. I'm anxious to see what treasures I'll find and hope to bring home some fresh, locally grown produce.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend enjoying your family and of course, my friends, do something CRAFTY!
Hugs,
Bernadette
