Masculine Happy Birthday

 I'm here today posting a card that I have made for one of my sons. I had gotten inspiration for this card from Julie Dinn over on Pinterest. Thank you, Julie! I will be putting this over on the AAA Birthday Card Challenge Game 22. The striped paper is from MFT 6x6 Black & White Stripes. I do really love this paper and do not use it enough. The large sentiment is from MFT and so are the candles from Make a Wish. The yellow paper is from SU, I used MFT Stitched Rectangle Frames for a border and the sentiment is MFT's Essential Sentiments. Once I had all the elements cut and stamped the card came together fairly quickly.

Hoping you will enjoy this evening and have a great weekend. I'm off tomorrow to one of my daughter's birthday parties and will be joined by 2 of her sisters. No boys allowed this time around.

Sending You Hearts

Just a quick stop by today with a card that I have made for my Great-granddaughter. I am sending this over to The Paper Players for their recent challenge although I'm coming in at the last minute on this entry.

This little kitty was too cute not to enter using a cat of some kind on the card. I stamped the cat image from MFT Cute Critters with a sentiment and die cut from the same set. I used several SU papers, Smokey Slate and Highland Heather. The Kitten was colored with my Prismacolor Pencils.

Birthday Blessings

 I'm here this afternoon posting a card that I will be putting over on the CAS Colour and Sketches for their recent challenge. I'm continuing to add to my Birthday Card stash which is so helpful when I need one to send quickly.

I looked through my older stamp sets today to pick some images to use on several different challenges and chose this one for the CAS entry. It is an older SU stamp set, Happy Watercolor. I stamped it on Neenah Solar White #80 lb. and used several Altenew inks to colour it. The paper is SU Highland Heather. The stamp for the sentiment is from my go-to MFT Bitty Birthday Wishes.

I hope you have a wonderful evening. The weather here in Clayton was 70 degrees! Unfortunately, it will only last until tomorrow and then we will have more rain for several days.

For the Birthday Boy

 Just dropping in today with a card I created for one of my little grandsons.Over at Seize the Birthday the challenge was to create a scene. I went through my animal stamps and chose the little critters from MFT Better Together with matching Dies. I used  MFT Tucked -in Turf -Hor. for the grass element. The animals were colored with Prismacolor Pencils. 

After taking the photo of this card I noticed that the Dog could have had more color, but I just left it as is. Even though I had good lighting yesterday, this photo still looks a little off even after using a filter. As I said previously, I probably should invest in a lightbox or make a DYI one for my card photos.

That is for today. I need to clean up my craft desk and start another crafty project.
