Happy Birthday to You

Happy Weekend y'all. I have been enjoying my day preparing for our familly gathering tomorrow. My son Matt, his wife and children will be coming in from Lynchburg,Va for the weekend. My 4 other children and their families who live close by will also be joining us tomorrow. It's always great fun when we get together. The little ones just love getting "cousin time" and my children love connecting with their siblings. I just put up a sign in my Bonus Room that fits our family perfectly. It reads, " Some Call it Chaos, We call it Family"! Love it and it makes me smile everytime I see it.

Today is the last of my  Tasty Treats cards. I'm sure you are ready for that since this paper and samples have been around for several months. I haven't bought much Stampin" Up! for quite some time. I am really intent on using ALL the SUPPLIES I have on hand, even if they are not the latest and greatest.  Although so of the new stamps and papers I love, I don't do this as a business just a hobby, it's not economical or wise.

Now onto the card above.  This card was CASEd from Patty Bennetts blog. Thanks Patty! My card is an A2 size, Patty's was note size. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit, the Icecream cone is from Taylored Expression die set (ret.). I used some sequins from another of the PP sets, SU card stock and ink. The little chocolate topping on the top of the cone was cut out with my Cricut Air.

That's about it for today. Enjoy your weekend and go do somthing you LOVE!

Happy Happy

Today is the 6th. card in my series of 7 using the SU Tasty Treats DSP. This is a gift card that I cased from Tracy Bradley's site. I loved the simplicity of the gift card holder and I can see myself using it at Christmas time and many more birthdays.

Two different stamp sets were used here. The inside sentiment is from B.Y.O.G. and the Happy, Happy is from the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I just love having these little extra Paper Pumpkin stamp sets. I keep them in a SU Basic 6x8 Album right next to my desk for quick and easy access.

I did use the icecream cone from Cricut Simply Charmed, some Rhinestone dots, a Square Framelit (non SU) to cut around the sentiment, and the SU 1" Circle Punch to cut the opening in the Money Holder.

That's it for today. Make it a great one and go do something you love!

Live Simply,
Bernadette
