Big Slice of Happiness

Good evening. I just finished a card this afternoon that will be put over at CAS on Friday.

The challenge was to create a card using a food item. I pulled out my MFT Die-namic, Piece of Cake which I haven't used in a while. I paired it up with a sentiment from MFT Big Birthday Sentiment which I haven't inked up before. The background paper is from the MFT Birthday Brights 6x6 pack which I had used chose for a card I created earlier today.  Altenews Pink Diamond cube was used for inking the sentiment.

This photo could have used some color correction

That will be all for today. Our local hockey team, The Carolina Hurricanes will be on TV in about 45 minutes. I'll need to get settled in to watch the boys do their magic. GO CANES!

Blessings, Bernadette

Hello all. Just posting a birthday card today that I am sharing over at  CAS on Friday

For your blog

I just love this set by MFT, Picture Perfect Party Animals and it fit with the challenge over at CAS on Friday #188 PARTY. It was fairly easy to put together because of the minimal layers. Why not stop by and see what the other crafty ladies designed.

Products Used:

Paper Neenah Solar White 110lb. for the base, SU Artristy Blooms DSP

Stamp MFT Picture Perfect Party Animals, MFT Safari Party sentiment

MFT Stitched Rectangle Die-namics, MFT Stacked Sentiment Strips, MFT Selfie Square

Memento Black Ink

Prismacolor Pencils: 992, 994, 942, 941, 921,1094

I just finished a wonderful visit with one of my daughters and her 3 children just before I posted. It's been such a blessing to be able to see them all a little more. So, that's about it for today.

Stay Well and Stay Safe!

Blessings,

Bernie Bee

Have a Really Great Day

Hi all! Just posting a card that I will be linking over on the CAS ON FRIDAY blog.  The theme is NATURE for this challenge.

For your blog

I decided to brush off my SU Tropical Thinlits Dies. I cut the die from SU Shaded Spruce backed with Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from MFT's Well, Hello inked with Hero Arts Black ink. I adhered the Palm Leave die cut and the sentiment to a piece of Neenah Solar White #110 lb. that I embossed with the SU's Subtle 3D EF. which I use often. It creates a very subtle texture which I really like. That was it, easy peasy! I will be making several more of this design using different color combinations.

I'm off to create another card, hopefully before I need to start dinner. Stay safe and well...

Blessings, Bernie B
