My 1st. Card with Stampin'Up!

Today I had the chance to finally sit down and create! Can you see me doing the HAPPY DANCE...
I had lost my mojo, have been busy up at the Clubhouse and then gotten sick.  I'm finally feeling better and was ready to get my hands "dirty".

It was so much fun working with the new products.  I'm even more in love with them then I was. I chose to use the following to create my card:

Whisper White card stock for the base of the card
Marina Mist as a layer  - love this color blue
Summer Starfruit (new in color 2012-2014) {heart} this one
Polka Dot Parade (new )
Marina Mist/Summer Starfruit  inks
Papillon Potpourri  wood stamp set
Petite Pairs clear stamp set
and the NEW Elegant Butterfly Punch

Almost There

Well, I recieved my kit several days ago, I almost have my craft area sorted, a tenative Workshop date of July 27th. scheduled, but I'm down with a nasty summer cold and can't get much done. UGH! Today I'm just catching up on emails and trying to get motivated to do some cards. As of now, no MOJO or energy to do that. I haven't been sick like this in a long time for which I am very grateful, but my stress level is rising from lack of productive time. I know, take a deep breathe ...

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and I will actually get a card up using the Papillon Potpourri ( pg. 115) stamp set. It's such a pretty butterrfly set with matching punch, Elegant Butterfly (pg.184). My first Make and Take will be using that combo plus the new Starfruit colored paper and matching ink pad. I think it will go over well.
