Grateful for You/Mojo437/ctd382

I worked on this card yesterday for several hours. Yes I know, buying a Hallmark card would have been easier and less frustrating, but you know how us card makers are. Why buy it when you can make it!

Unfortunately after all that time, I'm not all that impressed with my choice of  patterned papers. Although, the colors are in line with the Color Throwdown challenge and the layout with the MOJO Monday sketch.

I used 3 stamp sets on this card, framelits, an EF, and 3 punches.  I usually don't do that, but I really needed things to come together and I wasn't achieving it with fewer choices. Oh well, it gives some of my poor neglected "stash" some love.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Go do something CRAFTY!

Hip Hip Horray/Seize the Birthday/DS#191

Today I had a chance to play with some paper and stamps. I saw the sketch #191 over at Jen Shults site , loved it and had to try my hand at it making it. Since I always need birthday cards and Seize the Birthday is a great site to post your birthday creations,  I decided to enter it there.

That's it for this afternoon.  I need to get my desk cleared so I can work on another project. And oh, perhaps get supper started :0) Have a CRAFTY evening.

I'm Here For You/ ctd381

Just a quick post today using the new SU Pedal Pusher stamp set that was free during Sale-A-Bration. I have a friend at church, a young Mom who is battling cancer.  I have been sending her cards just to let her know she is being thought of and prayed for.

I really loved the Spring colors that Color Throwdown posted for the week, but instead of a card full of flowers or bunnies, I decided on the cute bike in this set.  I minimally colored the bike and added the basket of flowers to tie all the colors together.

(the products used are at then end of this post. )

OOPS!  I thought the color was Honey not Kraft. I guess I should have read the whole post :0(
That's it for today. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and did something CRAFTY! Have a great week.
