Sweet Birthday Wishes

Good Afternoon! Just popping in to post a card that I created today to link over at CAS Colours & Sketches.

I have been sorting through stamp sets and dies seeing what I will keep and what I'll sell. Its been a daunting job. This particular set, SU Butterfly Basics is one I will be keeping. 

I decided to off-set the floral panel, but the jury is still out on that decision.

God is Our Refuge

Hi All!  I'm here today posting two cards that I created to link over on Mojo Monday  Julee created a nice sketch for us to jump-start our creativity. I did not follow the sketch exactly. The circle on Julee's sketch covered the strip towards the bottom of the card, mine does not. By the way, a mistake of my part, but I left them the way they were so I would not have to start the card all over again. :))

The scripture verse I used on both cards is by Julee when she had her store. Sorry, I don't have the name of the set I took this from. My thought on using this particular scripture was to remind us that God is our Refuge not only during these difficult times we are going through as a Nation but our own personal trails we go through. I'll be making more cards with Scripture encouraging verses in the future.

I decide today that on the part I will list the products used as I had done previously. It just seems simpler.  I hope that works for all of you.

You are my sunshine

I'm finishing up my day today with a card I will be posting over on  CAS(E) this Sketch blog.

This was another clean and simple card to put together. They always are when I can choose my die cuts and sentiments beforehand. I used two Die-namics by MFT, Sunny Skies, and Stitched Clouds, plus Stitched Rectangle Die-namics. I used SU's Seaside Spray and  So Saffron as my main colors and completed them with a sentiment from Gina K. All About You.

That's about it for today. Making dinner should be my next priority, although I rather keep creating!

Have a Really Great Day

Hi all! Just posting a card that I will be linking over on the CAS ON FRIDAY blog.  The theme is NATURE for this challenge.

I decided to brush off my SU Tropical Thinlits Dies. I cut the die from SU Shaded Spruce backed with Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from MFT's Well, Hello inked with Hero Arts Black ink. I adhered the Palm Leave die cut and the sentiment to a piece of Neenah Solar White #110 lb. that I embossed with the SU's Subtle 3D EF. which I use often. It creates a very subtle texture which I really like. That was it, easy peasy! I will be making several more of this design using different color combinations.

I'm off to create another card, hopefully before I need to start dinner. Stay safe and well...
