Being Together

 I'm here tonight posting a card that I finished up this afternoon. I will be linking this over at CAS Colours&Sketches for their sketch challenge for this week. I chose the sweet little animals from MFT's Better Together stamp set with matching dies. I haven't used this in recent months and just thought the sentiment in this set was appropriate for the times we've all been through this past year and a half. Both papers are from MFT Road Trippen 6x6 pad.  I colored the animals with my Prismacolor pencils and used Gamasol to blend them.

Birthday Boy

 Good afternoon! Today I am posting a card that I just finished up for my grandson, Asher who will be 2 in several days. When looking over challenge blogs several days ago, I saw that Seize the Birthday had a FURRY FRIENDS Birthday Card challenge. I had already decided to use these sweet little furry animals from MFT Better Together, so I knew it would fit their challenge.

Boys Will Be Boys Birthday Card

 I am here today posting a card that I have made for my grandson who lives in Maine. He is a big fan of LEGOS and I still had an older stamp set from SU Boys Will Be Boys. I will be linking this over on Seize the Birthday although this is just a card without the toppings.

I did use SU Lucky Lime Twist for the frame, Crushed Olive Distress ink for the Legos, and also use Distress Oxide Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink to color in the Robot. The balloons were from MFT Better Together using the stamp and matching die.

For the Birthday Boy

 Just dropping in today with a card I created for one of my little grandsons.Over at Seize the Birthday the challenge was to create a scene. I went through my animal stamps and chose the little critters from MFT Better Together with matching Dies. I used  MFT Tucked -in Turf -Hor. for the grass element. The animals were colored with Prismacolor Pencils. 

After taking the photo of this card I noticed that the Dog could have had more color, but I just left it as is. Even though I had good lighting yesterday, this photo still looks a little off even after using a filter. As I said previously, I probably should invest in a lightbox or make a DYI one for my card photos.

That is for today. I need to clean up my craft desk and start another crafty project.
