Masculine Happy Birthday

 I'm here today posting a card that I have made for one of my sons. I had gotten inspiration for this card from Julie Dinn over on Pinterest. Thank you, Julie! I will be putting this over on the AAA Birthday Card Challenge Game 22. The striped paper is from MFT 6x6 Black & White Stripes. I do really love this paper and do not use it enough. The large sentiment is from MFT and so are the candles from Make a Wish. The yellow paper is from SU, I used MFT Stitched Rectangle Frames for a border and the sentiment is MFT's Essential Sentiments. Once I had all the elements cut and stamped the card came together fairly quickly.

Hoping you will enjoy this evening and have a great weekend. I'm off tomorrow to one of my daughter's birthday parties and will be joined by 2 of her sisters. No boys allowed this time around.

Congrats

I recently made this card to give to my son and his family who just bought a new home here in the area. I called on an old SU Stamp, You Brighten My Day which was a Sale-A-bration free stamp set with a matching punch. The SU paper Gingham Gala, one of my favorite papers, by the way, was framed with the MFT Stitched Rectangle Frames die-namics and the Congrats die-namics.

The houses and the flag were stamped then embossed with white embossing powder which really made them pop on the pastel checked background. The base of the card is Neenah Solar White 110#, SU Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushell were used for the houses.
