Have a Really Great Day

Hi all! Just posting a card that I will be linking over on the CAS ON FRIDAY blog.  The theme is NATURE for this challenge.

For your blog

I decided to brush off my SU Tropical Thinlits Dies. I cut the die from SU Shaded Spruce backed with Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from MFT's Well, Hello inked with Hero Arts Black ink. I adhered the Palm Leave die cut and the sentiment to a piece of Neenah Solar White #110 lb. that I embossed with the SU's Subtle 3D EF. which I use often. It creates a very subtle texture which I really like. That was it, easy peasy! I will be making several more of this design using different color combinations.

I'm off to create another card, hopefully before I need to start dinner. Stay safe and well...

Hello My Sweet Friend

Just finishing up a day of sorting craft paper, practicing layering flowers, and finishing up this card for Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I went in several different directions with colors and layout for this card but finally decided on the one below. I had just received the MFT's Sweet Hello layering die and I needed to add to my stash of friend cards. I paired it with a sentiment from the MFT's Well, Hello stamp set. I used SU's Purple Posy and a new DSP, Playing with Patterns for the triangle element. The softness of the color and pattern drew me in.

That's about it for this evening. I'll see you in a few days posting a new creation.
I hope you have a blessed Sunday. Stay safe and well!
Blessings,
Bernie B

Hello

Just popping in tonight to link a card that I created to link over at CAS(E) this Sketch! I just had received 2 new stamp sets from MFT and was anxious to make a card. I needed some "keeping in touch" cards, and the MFT Well, Hello filled the bill. Although the stamp had a very pretty Hello, I did not order the die-cut for from this set since I had several different ones. I plan on using the Hello sentiment just stamped on a future card.

Products Used:

SU Woven Threads DSP, SU Rocco Rose, SU Seaside Spray, Neenah Solar White 1110# CS for the base of the card

MFT Well, Hello stamp set, MFTStitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics

SU Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies

Well, I'm off to clean up my messy craft space, have a cup of herbal tea, and read a few more chapters in a new book I started several days ago. Have a great remainder of the evening and maybe you'll be able to do something you LOVE before heading to bed this evening.

Blessings,
BJ
