My Help

This is my VLVSEPT2014 week 2 card and I will be linking it over on Word Art Wednesday, also. I did have some other paper in mind, but settled on this pretty floral in the All Abloom paper stack.  The lighting is a little off since I took it with the early morning sun. It seems it's still trial and error for me in taking photos of my cards. {smile}

I  will be making this short today.  I have a Woman's Bible Study this morning and a Card Class with some ladies from the park where I live. I'm hoping to get in a pedicure, but don't know if that will happen today. I seem to put that off. I'd rather spend that hour or so in my Studio, although I do enjoy getting them.

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday and do something CRAFTY my friends.

*Stamp set - Verve Scripture Medley 2 , which I just love. I have used this set of uplifting scriptures on at least 5 cards, and there are still 7 left!

*SU retired embossing folder and button

I forgot to mention that I used one of my favorite papers, Shimmery White #101910. I love the subtle little shimmer it has to it and the weight of the card paper.(stamped sentiment and flower)

I great sketch using MOJO  Monday 327.

Hi there! I'm a little late getting my card up today.

I tried several different stamps and papers before I finally settled on this combo using the new Retrofresh DSP132993. I think

I am loving this as much as I have the Kaleidoscope DSP.  ;}

I'm finding myself becoming very comfortable with vibrant and fresh colors.  I used to lean only towards a softer palette, but now I'm having a difficult time "playing" with those colors. I promise a softer palette of cards next month.

Stampin' Up! has a beautiful paper,Watercolor Wonder DSP 132994,

that is calling my name. Daffodil Delight,Smokey Slate,

Tangerine Tango are just a fewthat coordinate with the paper.

So stay tuned and bear with me as I create with this DSP.

Happy Birthday to you!

 I created this card yesterday for my mother-in-laws birthday. And yes,

it's in the mail...Yahoo :}

She will be 88 years young next Wednesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

I used the MOJO320 sketch, which I love, by the way. This is definitely going to be filed so I can use it again with other paper and sentiments.
It's such a versatile layout.

Stampin' Dimensionals 104430

Just a little testimonial on these dimensionals.

I've been paper crafting for about 10+ years and have used other dimensionals through those years, but I must say, these are really the best quality. They are easy to remove, stay where you put them and have just enough "lift" to make the pieces you want to have, well dimension, to stand out.  PERFECT !

Well, that's about it for today. I hope you take the time to visit my (click here) STORE and take advantage of the HOLIDAY SALE going on until December 2nd. As I mentioned in my post yesterday, over 70+ items on are on sale. Click the link below to download the PDF flyer.
