Pink and Gray Christmas

Today's card was not difficult, but let's just say, I'm a red, kraft, and green kind of gal. Especially for the Christmas Holiday.

Merry Monday Christmas challenge#131 was to create a card using non-traditional colors. I played with several color combos and even stamps, and the card below was my final decision. I actually like it quite well and even have a recipient in mind.  Are gray and pink your colors?

Quick and Easy Wonderful Christmas

Inside of card
Today's card is one that I'm entering into two challenges, Fab Friday 51 and Merry Monday.

I love the simplicity of the Fab Friday sketch and being new the Merry Monday, I love the idea of getting a head start on my Christmas cards. Why not stop by and see what each of these blogs and their Design Team has created. You won't be disappointed.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and can do something CRAFTY my friends.

My weekend will be serving and attending at our  church Saturday and Sunday and going to a Kari Jobe concert on Saturday evening. I'm really looking forward to it all!

Hugs,
Bernadette

Gift Card Trio

Today I will be showcasing three Gift Card holders I made recently.

Yes, I know, there have been many of these floating around
for months by other demonstrators.
So, there is really nothing new here except my on "spin" on them.

I tend not to create something until I need it, bad I know.
"Tis the season" that I needed these, thus the lateness of posting the ideas.

Hopefully they will be of some inspiration to you,
especially if you tend to be a procrastinator like I am!

*All the products used will be listed at the bottom. If you would
like the measurements on any of these projects, you can email me at:
bernadettebliss@gmail.com

The first two were made using the Envelope Punch Board 133774 by SU.
What a handy tool this is. There are some very creative demonstrators out there who have gone beyond using this just to create envies.
I'm so thankful for them being so willing to share their talent.

This particular card opens just the reverse of many that have been  created.
I liked it because it was a little different.
* inspired by Katina Martinez*

This particular one is cut using a 5 1/2 x 51/2 inch piece of DSP. It will allow you to create 4 gift card holders out of one 12x12 inch sheet of DSP. The solid insert is used to hold a gift card with a glue dot.
On the back you can add a sentiment if you like.
*inspired by Patty Bennett*

I choose this Gift Card because it will hold either cash or a check. I did tweek my measurements a little so it would accommodate a check since I don't send cash in the mail.

Harvest of Blessings

Today I am posting another card using Harvest of Thanks #131739.

I used the MOJO Monday 311 sketch, just flipping it.

I used the Sweater Weather DSP again and made a matching envelope from the Crushed Curry CS using the Envelope Punch Board.

The base of the card is Very Vanilla and I accented it with Soft Suede paper and stamped the image in Soft Suede ink. The corn was highlighted using Crushed Curry ink applied with a Blender Pen.

I cut out the sentiment with  a Apothecary Accents framlits that I used on yesterdays card. Just stamp, run through the Big Shot or other die cutting machine, and done! No fussy cutting. Love it!

I finished the card using the Square Envelop Lattice folder, Circle Punch, Ticket Punch (retired) , Adorning Accents edgelits, some cute little Candy Dots and Very Vanilla Ribbon Seam Binding. Finished...

Make it a great day and do something CRAFTY!

Thanks

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so pleased to be posting a card today. The weekend was full of some ministry opportunities and pressing and hanging drapes and pictures in our new home.  Of course, my husband mentioned it was about time!

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to create, but managed to fit it in. My card layout was inspired by an older MOJO Monday sketch, MOJO 248.

I hadn't used my new stamp set, Harvest of Thanks #131739 and
it seems I always need a thank you card. I will be creating two
more cards from this set, so be sure to stop back.

I used Sweater Weather # 132184 DSP, Chocolate Chip CS, and Tangerine Tango CS . I thought they would be perfect for a Thanksgiving thank you. I stamped on Very Vanilla with Tangerine Tango ink. I then used the framelit that matched the stamp from Apothecary Accents #127003.

To complete the card, I added Candy dots to the Large Scallop die cut, Natural Trim Ribbon and embossed the solid piece of Chocolate Chip with the Perfect Polka dots folder to give it a little interest.

I hope you stop by again this week. Make your day great and stay
CRAFTY!

Hey There Friend

Today I am posting another CASE card from the Stampin' Up! yearly catalog. Of course, like with every CASEd item, this is my interpretation. I liked the layout and the use of the framelit die and wanted to give it a try with one of my favorite papers, Tea for Two.
Although I don't usually stamp directly on the DSP, using the stamp from my
Paper Pumpkin Kit and Jet black StazOn, seemed to work.

 Island Indigo 122923
