Congratulations!

Today I finished up a card for one of my younger daughters and her husband. They just sold their home, bought an RV that they will be living in until they build a home on their recently purchased 5 acres. It will be quite an adventure for them and their 3 children.

This card is to congratulate them on their new NEST, the RV, that will be their home for at least a year. I haven't used these dies in quite a while but thought the birdhouse would be perfect.

I will be entering it in the current ColorThrowdown challenge. The colors at first stumped me, but thinking it through and pulling out different shades of SU colors helped make the process a little easier.

PARTICULARS:
MFT Die-Namics: Stitched Sentiments Strips, Stitched Rectangle Frames, Birds of a Feather
SU Paper: Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay
Stamp: SU Something to Say
MFT Stencil: Colored the Mini Cloud Edges with Pool Party ink
Ink: GinaK  Black Amalgam

That's it for this evening. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and are able to do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
Bernie

I love the bold versions of the color throwdown colors that you've used for your card.

Love this new "nest" greeting which is a great way to highlight the throwdown colors! I can identify with the challenge your daughter will be going through! We were in a 30 foot camper for 4 months during extensive renovation of our home. Three children and getting them off to school...water hose freezing ...having to do laundry in a back building, etc. You really appreciate when it's all completed!
