Happy Birthday

Just popping in this morning with a Birthday card that I will be linking over at Seize the Birthday#159 and Freshly Made Sketches#376.

I love the simplicity of the FMS sketch and always need Birthday cards so needed to make a much needed birthday card.

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb. and the Pink CS is some card stock that I had in my stash. I cut the Pink CS with one of the Stitched Rectangles by MFT. The Black and White paper is from SU and so are the little pearls. I stamped and die cut the Floral image from GinaK's Bundled Stamps and Dies-Stippled Flowers. The flower was stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Picked Raspberry, the leaves with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn. I then took a water brush and feathered the ink to fill in the white spaces. My sentiment is from a old Happy Birthday stamp set that I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with GinaK fine detail Embossing Powder. And that's it. Clean and simple!

Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. I think I'll be doing more crafting since we have had rain, rain, rain, and more expected here in North Carolina. I good excuse to be housebound CRAFTING!

And I hope you get to do something you LOVE!

Blessings, Bernadette
