Best Friend Ever and MOJO303

Yesterday I was able to put together this card with a "push" from Linda Heller.  My Studio B is still in a little bit of a shambles. You know, "stuff" all over, boxes, trying to find a place for everything . I have been enjoying it, though. I was able to find some real neat things to spruce the room up and I'm anxious to get to that part. I have to make one more trip to IKEA to get a chest that I need and I think for now, I'll be done. The room is really small, but I have managed to get enough storage options without, in my opinion, looking crowded. Once it is complete, I'll do a "TOUR". Hopefully a video tour. :>}

Onto the card. To get this up and running today, I'm not going to list the product numbers. Actually, I 'm considering not doing it with future posts. I  would love to have your opinion on this. Product numbers or no product numbers? Let me know in the comments area.

This is MOJO 303 sketch. I hadn't used this stamp in the LABELS OF LOVE set, saw this paper, GINGHAM GARDEN DSP lying in my paper drawer and as the saying goes, "The rest is history".  I just felt the sentiment fit the paper.
 So fun and modern.

A CARD, a card!

Today I was determined that I was going to create something, anything.

My Studio B is still in a similar state that it was in the last post, but a little worse. I had to open boxes hoping that I would find what I was looking for. I did have most labeled, but not all. I managed to find my stamps and some of my ribbon. My paper was in plain site and so was my ink, cutters and adhesives. I really wanted to use Stampin' Dimensionals and the new Candy Dots on this card, but I never did find what box they were in!

I decided to follow the MOJO Monday 302 sketch. I had thoughts of making it a masculine card, but I'm not sure if it fits that category. What do you think? It's not to frilly and the colors lean towards masculine, but I'm still not confident that I would use it as one.

The photo below is a sad tale. I had completed the card and even the inside. I thought I would add a little extra on the inside, so I punched a small scallop circle with layering circle. Well, forgetting that I had an OPEN ink pad laying near by, I flipped open the top...Well you can see what happened.
It was back to square one on cutting all the layers out again.

Well, that's about it for today. Tomorrow I'm planning on looking for more
hard-case pieces to fill in my house, some art and plants. The landscaper is going to stop by with a more reasonable plan for "prettying" up the outside. I never realized how expensive of  a job that is. Every house we have bought had the landscaping in place, so it was kind of a shock.

UPDATE: I did go to IKEA last Saturday and was completely overwhelmed.
Too much merchandise and too many people. I did go with a list, but came
home empty handed! I'm really glad I did, though. I have rearranged
my room several times in my head since then and have chosen
other pieces then I had originally planned on.

Have a great weekend and try to stay CRAFTY!

Update

I have a few minutes this morning to post, unfortunately nothing creative.
Unless you consider trying to find a place for everything and everything in it's place.
I love things organized, but I don't especially like doing the actual organizational part.

We emptied our Motor Home on Saturday. My goodness, that rig holds a lot! It took us almost 6 hours "shulping" it from the MH to the house, but we got it done. One of our young neighbors, Travis, came over to help. It was so nice for him to offer and we enjoyed his company.
I was able to get some of the bedroom organized, did some wash
and called it an end to a very long day

We attended our local church on Sunday morning, had a bite to eat at Panera's and  came home and started organizing the kitchen. It took several hours, but the job is done. YEAH me!
Today is the master bath and going through some papers. I pray the day is as productive as planned.

These are some pictures of my Studio. Looks lovely doesn't it? I also have boxes in the closet in that room, but didn't think a picture of them would be to interesting. I'm lacking organization items, a desk, and some shelving. So, until a trip to IKEA is made, not much can be done.

We do have a scheduled trip to the IKEA in San Diego this weekend. I am very excited and hope my wish list covers everything I need (or want). The great part of this excursion,
is my husband is excited about it also. I think IKEA is really the
only store he likes to shop in. Although, I think the restaurant in the store helps!

Well, I need to get myself in gear if my day is going to be productive.

Make it a great day and stay CRAFTY!
