T.N.T. Thursday

Today for T.N.T. Thursday I will be showing you how to make this fun and simple Triangle fold card. You can whip up these in no time. I managed to make 5 different designs in less then an hour. Make sure you take a look at the other examples at the end of this post.

I had so much fun using my free Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Patterned Occassions 129624. This set could be yours also. There is still time to get it FREE with a $50 order, but you need to hurry.
Sale-a-Bration is coming to a close on March 22. Just go to my business website: bernadettebliss.stampinup.net and place your order. It will come right to your
door and you can get to play with it also!

For this card you will need the following :

  • One piece solid CS cut at 5"x 4 1/4"
  • 2 pieces of  DS CS cut at 3" x 4"
  • 1 piece of Very Vanilla CS cut at  4" x 4"
  • Stampin Spot
  •  Large Scallop punch
  • 4" piece of coordinating ribbon
  • Glue dots, SNAIL Adhesive

You will take the 3x4 inch piece and fold the top half into a triangle. Make sure the bottom of the triangle sides match. Take your bone folder and crease the fold well.

Fold the straight edge that is remaining up to the edge of the folded triangle.

Run a strip of SNAIL Adhesive along the inside edge of the triangle. Fold over to close. Next run several strips of adhesive along the straight edge.
This will be the edge that you will be adhering the white CS to.

Line up Whisper White CS to the edge of the triangle.
This will be done for both triangle pieces

Cut out one scallop using the Large Scallop Circle Punch and a circle for the image.
I used Stampin' Up!s Circles #2 using the second largest circle. Sorry, I'm not sure of the size of it.

Stamp your image on the white inner circle. Place the scallop on the front of the card with a small glue dot towards the bottom  point of the top triangle. Taking the 4" piece of ribbon, cut it in half. Glue the 2 pieces together with a glue dot. Place another glue dot on the top and adhere the ribbon to the back of the circle. Add Stampin' Dimensionals to the back then add it to the scallop.
Trim your ribbon and your DONE!

Why not give these a try and see how fast they go together. You will have a nice little stash of everyday cards that will put a smile on someones face. I did add small sentiments to the inside of my cards using the  Teeny Tiny Wishes 127802 and Petite Pairs 122497
*Just make sure your sentiment is small enough so it does not go past the edge of the scallop.

Well that's about it. I apologize for this getting up so late in the day, but  yesterday just got away from me. I'm trying to have these T.N.T.'s up by 9 AM EST. Some weeks it works and some weeks it doesn't. I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial. Drop me a comment here or on my FB page. I would love to hear what you think. Have a CRAFTY day!
Here are the remaining cards in the Set
