Thinking of You

Today I created another thinking of you card, but I needed it to be a masculine one. I decided on using the same set and dies I used for my recent Masculine Birthday card.

I ran a piece of Basic Grey through my Big Shot using the SU Subtle Dynamics Embossing Folder which I love and use often. The patterned strip is a piece of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Paper layered on a solid piece of Night of Navy to give it some dimension. I colored the boat with Night of Navy and Basic Gray.

That is it for today. I've got a very messy workspace that's calling to be cleaned up! Have a pleasant evening.

Sending a Cup of Love

Today I am posting a card that I made for a friend. I'm really trying to be more mindful of sending cards of encouragement especially during this difficult time for our country.

This is the first time I'm using this fun MFT Mini Cafe' All DayDie-namic 

and pairing it with their Cup of Love stamp set.  I keep it fairly simple 

but felt it would put a smile on my friend's face.

Have a wonderful Sunday and a blessed upcoming week. Look for the good all around us even if its' just a small thing. Staying positive will help us all get through this Covid-19 that is looming over our great country. I have a sign in my craft area that reads  "I Choose Joy". 

It's something I aspire to do each day and hope you will too.

Thinking of You #5

This will be my last card for now using the SU Honey Bee Bundle. I've enjoyed using this so much and can understand why others have also. In my opinion, the stamps and dies allow me to create cards quickly a process that I love. The inspiration for this card was CASEd from Debra Harrison over on Pinterest. Thanks Debra! I did change the pattern of the background paper, the ink colors used on the flowers.

As I said in my previous post, I'm going to be working on Coffee Themed cards for my coffee-loving friends. I do have some of the card sketches chosen, but I'm lacking the color combos. So I'm off to the drawing board as they say!

Masculine Happy Birthday

Today I'm posting a card that I made for my SIL's birthday which is next month. I'm finally ahead, well not actually. I still have 4 more to create for family members who celebrate

 birthdays in April also.

All the papers and Twine are by SU. I used the Sailing Home stamp with the matching dies and one of the Stitched Nested Labels. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. The boats were colored with Night of Navy and Basic Gray ink.

That's it for today. I'm going to work on some cards for my coffee friends. The state of things right now has gotten me out of my MOJO slump. There are other things I should be doing, but I decided this was a better outlet for boredom.😊Make it a great Monday!

Just me, thinking of You

Here is another card I created with the SU Honey Bee Bundle. I'll be adding another one using the same set in a few days. I will be more than likely to be using it in the near future. 

It is one of my10 favorite sets.😊

I'll be moving onto some other cards creating with an MFT stamp set that I have on my desk for about a month asking for some LOVE!

I got my inspiration from a card that Anne Granger who had posted it on Pinterest. Thanks, Anne!

Thinking of You #4

I'm back again today with another Thinking of You card. This particular card went together fairly quickly which is plus. At the moment I'm stockpiling thinking of you cards to send to local and distant friends.

The last several months have been very hard for me crafting wise. I totally lost my MOJO, although I have great products and lots of inspiration from the web. I would just sit at my desk and play with paper and not create anything. Have any of you been in that situation? I'm very thankful that things have picked up creatively for me.

This is another card that I CASED by Debbie Henderson. I did change it up some by using some MFT products and a sentiment by The Paper Studio.

That is all for today. I have some cards to put together either later tonight or tomorrow.

As you can see I have a slight obsession for anything BEES!

Thinking of You #3

I'm posting this evening another card I created using the SU Honey Bee Bundle with the matching DSP. I really like this stamp set and dies and will be using it often, not only for Thinking Of You cards but birthday and get well cards also.

YAY! It's Your Birthday

I finished up my grandsons birthday card today and am fairly happy with it. The animals should have been a little lower on the card, but I didn't notice that until I had all glued and used foam dots. Hopefully, my grandson will not notice it. I CASED this card by Amy Yang, but changed up the sentiment. There are so many talented card makers out there that get my MOJO moving. A BIG thanks to all of you.

Several weeks ago I gathered up my "Thinking of You" sentiments from the various stamp sets and put them all in one place. I didn't realize that I had so many! It has really made my life so much easier. Although I do not have the sets they belong to labeled, it really has been a time saver for me since I make and need quite a few of this type of card.

Thinking of You

I was able to make a few cards today with the Honey Bee Bundle. I CASED this card by Hammond and Perry, although I did put my own spin on it.

I have decided for now, I will be making Thinking of You cards. It seems I need more of them than Thank You cards. That's it for today. I hope you have a great evening and a blessed Thursday.
