Child's Thanksgiving Card/MOJO#416

Today I am posting a sample of a card that I will be sending to 8 of my 11 grandchildren. I saw the MOJO#416 sketch and knew it would be perfect for the little squirrel I would be using almost immediately. I just love when that happens!

That little guy was cut by my Cricut Explore. He was a liitle bit of work only because he is layered, but I love they way he came out. I "blushed " his cheeks with chalk, filled his eyes and nose with Crystal Effects and used lots of SU dimensionals to have him pop off the middle circle. I used the retired Bigz die, Autumn Accents, for the acorn. I hope my GC enjoy getting this card with a little Thanksgiving cash tucked in.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a wonderful and CRAFTY Friday!

Hugs,
BernieBee

Friends/Share the Joy challenge

Today's card is using the sketch and Tic,Tac,Toe challenge over at Taylored Expressions. This proved to be a little more of a challenge for me then I anticipated, but I stuck to it.  I'm fairly happy with results.  The heavy twine is still in question and I couldn't get a decent picture of the whole card.  It looks blurry and I'm not sure why. I did adjust the levels, took several shots, but I guess  I didn't do enough. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you stop by Share the Joy Blog to get some great inspiration.

Make it a great Tuesday and go do something CRAFTY!

Thanks so Much/ Cricut Design Space

Saturday I had the opportunity to work in my Studio. That doesn't happen all that often , but I had a card design rolling around in my head. I'm not sure how your creative process works, I just knew I had to create the card before I lost my mojo or got involved with something else.

Since we are almost into Fall, and there seems to be quite a few projects involving acorns, I decided to try my hand at putting a card together that incorporated one.  I have one SU stamp set that has an acorn or acorns, but it doesn't have a matching die. Oh, I know, I could have fussy cute a simple acorn. I'm just not great at doing it.

So I opened my Cricut Design Space, fired up my Cricut Explore Air, typed in acorn, and had many images to choose from.  The the acorn on the card was from the Bits and Pieces cartridge.  I combined that with SU English Garden DSP, SU card stock and the Labels Collection framelits. I also pulled out a very neglected stamp set with matching die by Taylored Expressions, It's a Banner Day 1. I'm not sure why I haven't used this stamp and die in so longI do love how this card came out and I'm anxious to send it along to someone soon.

I hope you make it a wonderful Monday and are able to do something CRAFTY!

Hello/ MOJO415

Just a quick stop by today.  I've been wanting to do another card using the MOJO415 sketch and today I played around with some paper and ink. A Get Well card was on my list "to make", since my supply was low.

This really is a quick and simple card, but lets just say, it proved to be not so quick and simple for me. I had the hardest time with embellishments. I think I finally came up with something when I added the black dots. What do you think?

Well, I need to rap this up. I have about 600 Worship guides to stuff by tomorrow morning. Of course, I should have been doing that rather then "playing" with paper! It's not a hard job, just a little time consuming.

I hope you'll do something CRAFTY this weekend. ENJOY!

Hugs,
BernieB

A Cup of Cheer/FMS204/cQc#308

Today's card is one that I will be sending along to my MIL who is in rehab in Upstate NY.
I don't normally enter several challenges at a time, but I needed some color inspiration and was able to find that over at COLOUR Q #308.  I thought it paired perfectly with
the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 204 which is so clean and simple. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by an d go do something CRAFTY!

Happy Birthday / MOJO415

Today I played along with the MOJO#415 sketch challenge.  I was in need of a Birthday card for my granddaughter, and thought this was such a great sketch for a feminine card. I really love the Bermuda Bay, Black and crisp white together. What do you think?

I'm hoping to use this sketch again soon. Linda over at stampingschool used it as a gift card holder, so cute. I'm looking forward CASEing  it.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and go do something CRAFTY!

MOJO+414 - Masculine Card #3

I'm here again today using the same MOJO414 layout and a masculine card.

Today's card is using different SU DSP and stamp set.

Even though I feel this paper is a little feminine, I think there is enough
of different texture and with the fairly
simple sentiment, it seems more masculine to me.
What do you think?

I'm not going to get my 4th.card done. (sad face). I head out of town tomorrow morning earlier then was planned, so there will be no time to play with paper and stamps.

Have a wonderful weekend and go do something CRAFTY!

MOJO414 - #2 Masculine Card

Here is annother Masculine card using the MOJO 415 sketch.

All the papers and pieces were left over from yesterday's card.
I love when I can utilize "scraps", don't you?

I have some other card pieces laid out on my work table at the moment. I hope to create another Masculine card before the weekend. My goal was 4 total. We'll see if that is actually going to take place!

Have a wonderful day and I hope you can do something CRAFTY!

Masculine Birthday/MOJO414

Today I am posting a card that I created using the MOJO Monday sketch 414  as a Masculine card.  I needed a guy card yesterday and had nothing in my stash. Yikes! So I scurried to whip a quick one late last night and delivered it with some homemade Chocolate Chip cookies.

I decided today that I need to replenish my selection and started today using this sketch.  I have plans to make a least 3 more this week.

All the products used are from Stampin'Up!; Schoolhouse DSP, Grey,Tangerine Tango, Whisper White  card stock, White Corrugated Paper, Large Polka Dot EF,  stamp Big Day (SAB set), Banners Framelits.

Have a great day today and go do something CRAFTY!
