She did a great job creating the inclosed cards with the supplies
 provided in the kit.

Baby Card

I thought I might not have a chance to upload and post this before the deadline for MOJO 306, but I managed to squeeze some time in today.

This Baby card came together fairly quickly.
I saw the sketch, had Gingham Garden DSP lying on my studio desk,
and as they say, the rest is history!

I did struggle with adding the Daffodil Delight circle and the Polka Dot Parade DSP, but I feel it really added the pop needed for the card.

There is a tiny bit of the Daffodil Delight in the small flowered background paper, so I assumed I wasn't completely off base.

The sentiment is from One in a Million which also had an appropriate inside sentiment. This has been my most recent "go to" stamp set. There are great  sayings included in this set of 10 stamps.

 Floral Fusions Sizzlits
Little Leaves Sizzlets
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Pearl Basic Jewels
Various Nestabilities
Strawberry Slush Ink

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful  and CRAFTY weekend!

For Someone Very Special

Today I am posting a card using the larger stamp from Chalk Talk and the Birthday Basics DSP and is being used as a Birthday card.

I pulled the colors out from the paper, and honestly, it did stretch me some. I tend to stick to more subdued colors or more monochromatic color scheme. I have done cards in the past few months with more color and they have received positive reviews, but I'm still not that comfortable with them. What is your opinion on this color combination,
Raspberry Ripple, Bermuda Bay, and Pink Pirouette?

I did use the new Envelope Liners Framelit, which I love. I think it just adds that little special touch when you are taking the time making a handmade card.

Candy Dots
Perfect Polka Dots Folder
Chevron Folder

Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon

Some Quick Fall Cards

I realized yesterday that I had posted these cards over on my FB page and Stamping  School FB, but not here on my blog. They were both quick to put together. I hope you will give them a try.

If you would like the measurements create them, just contact me here in the comments section and I'll be glad to pass them along.

Since I had not ordered any Fall DSP from SU yet, I dug into my newer DSP and found that Gingham Garden offered some good choices to do Fall inspired cards. I had a choice of several stamps, but just had received Lovely as a Tree and it needed to get inked up.

The card with the line of trees was stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and highlighted by using Olive Green and Pumpkin Pie ink and then pouncing
on various spots with a SU dauber.

I used the "rock and roll" technique on the leaves
using Baked Brown Sugar and Old Olive.

Candy Dots
Large Scallop Edgelits
Woodgrain Embossing Folder
Stampin' Distress Tool
Chalk Talk die
Natural Designer Buttons

Wishing You and MOJO305

I am uploading a card a day earlier then I planned, but I had it made and thought I would just go ahead a post it.  This is another MOJO Monday challenge card, #305 for this week. I really enjoy these challenges. They  seem to get my creative juices flowing most weeks. Other weeks they really push me to step out of the box of with my creativity. When I saw this sketch I knew immediately what paper I was going to use, EASTERN ELEGANCE. Oh, how I love the design and colors in this new DSP. Since I also needed a Wedding Card for next month,
I  used one of the sentiments in the SU stamp set ONE IN A MILLION.

I'm still debating what my inside sentiment will be, but I do have a month to decide!

Last week I received my  SU ENVELOPE LINERS FRAMELITS DIE and put it to good use making a matching envelope for this card.

I think it adds so much "pizzazz"! What about you?

Perfect Polka Dots, Retired embossing folder
Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack

Warmest Wishes

Yesterday was an exciting day for me. I got to complete a card in my new studio, STUDIO B!

The room is 98% done. I do have a window valance to put up and a small
area rug needs to be bought, but that's it. Of course as many of you know, Craft / Studios are never really complete. It seems that organizing our "stuff" always needs to be well, reorganized. Right now things are pretty much where I want them, but I know that will change. :>}}

It was such a joy to create in such a roomy area with almost everything at my fingertips. I will be posting either pictures or a video next week to show my finished Studio. So stay tuned.

Today's card was made using the MOJO304 sketch. I had just received  the new Eastern Elegance DSP yesterday and the sketch inspired me to use this beautiful paper.  I love the Coastal Cabana and Crushed Curry combination together.  I always seem to need birthday cards.

The sentiment from the Blooming with Kindness Set seemed to work perfectly with the elegance of the paper. I had completed the inner circle and just felt it need something more. I looked through my stamps and decided to use the flourish from Happy Day bring it together.

What do you think? Your opinions are always  welcome.

Ticket Punch - retired
Regals Collection button - Crushed Curry

Thanks so much for stopping by and being kind enough to continue to visit during my moving transition. I hope to have my TNT Thursdays up again real soon and be posting more often.

Have a wonderful weekend and stay CRAFTY!
