Smile

This is another card that I created using the Summer Smooches Designer Paper an the Bright Blossoms stamp set. My ladies at my Workshop on Saturday just loved the paper color and texture on this card. The photo on the left is a Thank You coupon I made for my hostess using the same paper and stamp set, except the butterfly. The sketch I used is from the Mojo Monday challenge #255. Their sketches are always fun and stretch me each time.

Ribbon: Stitched Grosgrain(126877)
Stamp set: Bright Blossoms (125497) clear mount, Fabulous Phrases (120501) clear mount

Summer Smooches

This card posted today is a card that I will be demonstrating at my Saturday Workshop. The ladies will have a chance to do this the way it is or choose to not emboss, paper pierce or use the edgelit die. I do love the Summer Smooches paper, but do have a little difficulty with the bright colors, but It is very fun and fresh and appeals to a large number of people. So I will continue to "push" myself out of my comfort zone. Have a great, blessed and CRAFTY DAY! BernieB

My 1st.CARD CLASS

Today I had my first card class as a Stampin'Up! demonstrator down at the Road Runner Clubhouse. What FUN! I had four ladies and one gentleman attend. What a good sport Don was playing with paper and stamps with all of us ladies. He was a great student and very creative. He told me he was looking forward to the next class! The girls from left to right in the first photo: Leslie, Barb, Linda and Sheri and of course, Don.

We used a variety of Stampin"Up! products and learned some new technique. They even got to use my Big Shot, which they loved. There is nothing better then sharing what you love and having people excited that they to can be creative also.

Have a blessed and crafty day! ~BernieB~

Little Duck Baby Card

I made this card today for a sweet couple at church who just had their baby girl. It seems that I can't get enough of this color combo. I'm not usually one who uses too many bright colors, but I sure love this new Floral District Designer paper (#126919). Stamp Set, Easy Events (#123225 clear mount), Daffodil Delight ( #119677), Whisper White (#100370) for the main card base, Rich Razzeleberry (#115316)for accent. The top of the image is actually a small section of the largest die of the new Apothecary Accent Framelits (#127003). I used the Adoring Accents Edgelits (#125595) and Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247)

After I had the card assembled, I remembered that I had the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack (#126199) that I could have used to pierce the top of the cut die.  Oh well, next time.

Have a great and CRAFTY weekend! BernieB

Workshop #1

My first  Stampin' Up!Workshop was successful with 9 ladies from the Park attending. I had such a great time introducing SU to women who did not know about the company or even had stamped previously. We laughed and played with stamps and paper for several hours. The comments were, "This was really fun and, " I really didn't think I could stamp, but did!" Needless to say, very satisfying remarks for me to hear. The pictures above were taken at the Road Runner Clubhouse where I held the event. The setup was great with large tables and comfy chairs (not pictured :>} ). I am planning on holding my larger card classes here in the future and I'm thrilled snd blessed to have the opportunity to us the facility.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a very CRAFTY weekend! BernieB
