Sending Prayers

I'm here posting a card that I created for the Freshly Made Sketches  #395 challenge using the Altenew Build-A-FlowerGardenia Die Set.  I've been practicing on layering this set and I believe I have it fairly mastered.

I recently received my 6x12 samples of the new SU DSP and I am in love with most of the papers. On this card, I used one of the patterns from Mosaic Moods and paired it up with the Perennial Essence Old OliveVellum. Such a pretty and easy to use vellum.

OTHER PRODUCTS USED

MFT  Deepest Sympathy Stamp Set
Altenew Ink Cubes for leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen, Jet Black
SU Ink for flower: So Saffron, Crushed Curry
GinaK Ink Cube: Sweet Corn

That's it for today. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend. AND go do something you LOVE!

Tropical Chic Thank You's

I'm back today with some more thank you cards that I needed to make for our recent Maine trip. As I was perusing through Pinterest last week, I came across some pretty cards using the Tropical Chic stamp set and dies. This has been a very unloved set and I'm not quite sure why. I have used the 6x6 papers but not many of the stamps.

The card that spurred my interest was made by the demo, Rose Marie Coleman. Thanks, Rose Marie!  I did change the cards up a bit on 2 of them and the 3rd. using the square stitched dies was my own design or at least I think it is. ;)

Have a great day and have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!

A Quick Masculine Thank You

We just returned home from our Maine trip visiting our son and his family on Friday. I'm playing catch up since Saturday. We had a wonderful time visiting family in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maine, then on our return trip to NC, New York to visit my MIL and more family. The weather was fairly decent while we drove. We did hit some rainy patches, but on the most part, it was clear. The scenery was beautiful and we actually saw a Moose while headed towards my son's house in Maine.

My next door neighbor was kind enough to water my plants while I was gone for 9 days and I wanted to give him a small gift and a thank you card. Unfortunately, I had thank you cards but they were all on the feminine side. So I went to work to do a quick and simple card using SU Lovely as a Tree stamp set, now retired.

I used all SU products except the rectangle die cut from MFT and was pleased the way it came together.  Colors used: Soft Suede for the base, although it is not showing up like that in this picture, Chocolate Chip Ink for the trees and sentiment, and Night of Navy for the outline rectangle.

Have a wonderful evening and take some time to do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
BernieB
