Another Birthday Card

I'm back again today to post another Birthday card.  This one is for one of my daughters whose birthday is Tuesday. I had already created a card, but wanted something a little different . So I pulled out my MFT Stitched Flower dies, got some inspiration from a card on Pinterest created by Lisa Addesa, and went to work.

I haven't played much with these dies, although I love them. They are a little intimidating to me. The shapes, the sizes and having to chose colors, Oh my! But I'm going to leave them on my craft desk and work with them more.

All the product on this card is from MFT, Stitched Flowers and sentiment, except the leaves. They are from an older Sizzix leaf die.

That's it for today. I will be linking this over Seize the Birthday #159

We do have rain again today, but I'm glad I can get some neede card creating done. I hope you have a great weekend. And go do something you LOVE!

Happy Birthday

Just popping in this morning with a Birthday card that I will be linking over at Seize the Birthday#159 and Freshly Made Sketches#376.

I love the simplicity of the FMS sketch and always need Birthday cards so needed to make a much needed birthday card.

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb. and the Pink CS is some card stock that I had in my stash. I cut the Pink CS with one of the Stitched Rectangles by MFT. The Black and White paper is from SU and so are the little pearls. I stamped and die cut the Floral image from GinaK's Bundled Stamps and Dies-Stippled Flowers. The flower was stamped with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Picked Raspberry, the leaves with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Mowed Lawn. I then took a water brush and feathered the ink to fill in the white spaces. My sentiment is from a old Happy Birthday stamp set that I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with GinaK fine detail Embossing Powder. And that's it. Clean and simple!

Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. I think I'll be doing more crafting since we have had rain, rain, rain, and more expected here in North Carolina. I good excuse to be housebound CRAFTING!

And I hope you get to do something you LOVE!

Blessings, Bernadette
