Sending Lots of Kisses and Hugs

I'm back today to post a card that I created for 2 grandsons who live out of town. I have made cards for my granddaughters who live out of state but needed something boyish.

I saw  CAS(E) Sketch #332  challenge and thought this would be a good sketch to follow for these cards.

PARTICULARS:

Stamps: MFT Wild Woodland, MFT Filled With Joy
Paper: SU Dinoroar, SU Mango Melody
MFT Stitched Rectangles
SU Thinlets Circle Card Kisses and Hugs die
Prismacolor Pencils / Gamsol
Neenah Solar White 110# for the base of the card

That's it for today. I'm off to have a procedure done today and hopefully be able to create more cards when I get back.

Blessings,
Bernie

Hello

Hi all. I'm finally back today creating some cards. I've been busy sorting, purging, and organizing my craft goodies. Unfortunately, I haven't finished yet but decided to take a break these past few days to unwind. Today I'm playing along with FMS398.
The stamp set and dies that I used on this card are by Altenew, "Garden Treasures".

Recently I decided to be more intentional about sending cards I've made, not only for my families special days but to some dear friends that need to know I am thinking of them on a regular basis. I have been following Jennifer McGuire for over a year now and she talks about sharing Handmade Kindness through the cards that we make. Brilliant! Now I need to add some to my stash.

Have a wonderful evening and go do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
BernieB

Hello

Just popping in tonight to link a card that I created to link over at CAS(E) this Sketch! I just had received 2 new stamp sets from MFT and was anxious to make a card. I needed some "keeping in touch" cards, and the MFT Well, Hello filled the bill. Although the stamp had a very pretty Hello, I did not order the die-cut for from this set since I had several different ones. I plan on using the Hello sentiment just stamped on a future card.

Products Used:

SU Woven Threads DSP, SU Rocco Rose, SU Seaside Spray, Neenah Solar White 1110# CS for the base of the card

MFT Well, Hello stamp set, MFTStitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics

SU Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies

Well, I'm off to clean up my messy craft space, have a cup of herbal tea, and read a few more chapters in a new book I started several days ago. Have a great remainder of the evening and maybe you'll be able to do something you LOVE before heading to bed this evening.

Blessings,
BJ

Sending Wishes Your Way

Hi All. I just finished up this birthday card without Toppings that I will be linking over at Seize the Birthday

I recently subscribed to Altenews Build-A-Flower monthly stamp set and have been working diligently at learning how to use the layering flowers and leaves on this beautiful Snapdragon. It had taken me some time to line up the flower to stamp correctly, but I have succeeded. The extra leaves at the top and lining the diecut to cut out the image has been a bit of a problem but hopefully, as I  continue to use this set it will get easier.

Products Used:

Altenew Build-A-Flower - Snapdragon set/w dies
SU Purple Posey, Woven Threads DSP
SU Subtle Dynamics EF
SU Noble Peacock Rhinestones
Altenew Ink Cubes, Enchanted Garden
SU Butterfly Basics Stamp Set
SU Stitched Shapes Framelits

Have a great rest of your day and go do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
BJ

Sending Prayers

I'm here posting a card that I created for the Freshly Made Sketches  #395 challenge using the Altenew Build-A-FlowerGardenia Die Set.  I've been practicing on layering this set and I believe I have it fairly mastered.

I recently received my 6x12 samples of the new SU DSP and I am in love with most of the papers. On this card, I used one of the patterns from Mosaic Moods and paired it up with the Perennial Essence Old OliveVellum. Such a pretty and easy to use vellum.

OTHER PRODUCTS USED

MFT  Deepest Sympathy Stamp Set
Altenew Ink Cubes for leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen, Jet Black
SU Ink for flower: So Saffron, Crushed Curry
GinaK Ink Cube: Sweet Corn

That's it for today. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend. AND go do something you LOVE!

BJ

Tropical Chic Thank You's

I'm back today with some more thank you cards that I needed to make for our recent Maine trip. As I was perusing through Pinterest last week, I came across some pretty cards using the Tropical Chic stamp set and dies. This has been a very unloved set and I'm not quite sure why. I have used the 6x6 papers but not many of the stamps.

The card that spurred my interest was made by the demo, Rose Marie Coleman. Thanks, Rose Marie!  I did change the cards up a bit on 2 of them and the 3rd. using the square stitched dies was my own design or at least I think it is. ;)

Have a great day and have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!

A Quick Masculine Thank You

We just returned home from our Maine trip visiting our son and his family on Friday. I'm playing catch up since Saturday. We had a wonderful time visiting family in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maine, then on our return trip to NC, New York to visit my MIL and more family. The weather was fairly decent while we drove. We did hit some rainy patches, but on the most part, it was clear. The scenery was beautiful and we actually saw a Moose while headed towards my son's house in Maine.

My next door neighbor was kind enough to water my plants while I was gone for 9 days and I wanted to give him a small gift and a thank you card. Unfortunately, I had thank you cards but they were all on the feminine side. So I went to work to do a quick and simple card using SU Lovely as a Tree stamp set, now retired.

I used all SU products except the rectangle die cut from MFT and was pleased the way it came together.  Colors used: Soft Suede for the base, although it is not showing up like that in this picture, Chocolate Chip Ink for the trees and sentiment, and Night of Navy for the outline rectangle.

Have a wonderful evening and take some time to do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
BernieB
