Let's Celebrate You

This card will be linked to Seize the Birthday #163

Back again today with the card I finished up for my grandsons birthday yesterday. I had used this stamp set by MFT, Safari Party, for another one of my grandsons in March. I did use the Bear and the elephant on that card but added the sweet turtle, the alligator, and added the #2 which I did on my first card.

The sentiment is from the same set except the inside sentiment is from MFT's All Occasions Sentiment. The papers are from SU, except the card base which is Neenah Classic White#110. The #2 was cut on my Cricut and layered 4 x's, the squares were cut with SU Stitched Shapes Framelits and backed with white craft foam. I colored the images with my Prismacolor Pencils and blended them with Gamsol.

I received my inspiration from Melania Deasy. Thank you Melania! I chose to make this a 5x7 card and add the dots background.

This was the card I made using the same set in March.

That's it for today. I'm off to work on some Thank You cards and a New Home Card. I hope you make this a great day and do something you LOVE!

Hi

Just stopping by today with a card I put together for CAS(E) this Sketch #317. I've been very slow using these die-namics, Stitched Flowers from MFT. I love them but have some difficulty choosing the flowers I want to use and arranging them. I looked at several examples on Pinterest and decided to loosely follow the one I used. The "HI" die-namic is also by MFT. I used the SU DSP, Botanical Butterfly from Sale-A-Bration and SU Black CS. The black strip was embossed with the SU Subtle Dynamic Folder.

That's about it. I'm off to finish up a birthday card for one of my grandsons who will be 2 this week. Enjoy your day and go do something you LOVE!

Blessings,
BernieB

Dance & Twrirl, Birthday Girl

I'll be linking this card over at Seize the Birthday

I just finished up this card today for one of my granddaughters who will be 4 on Saturday. This is the first time I have used Pure Innocence stamps, although I love them. I have hesitated to purchase them because of fear of coloring them. Well, just let me say after today coloring them, I am in LOVE!

I've been slowly through the years learning how to color with my beloved Prismacolor pencils. I'm embarrassed to say how long I've been on the low end of the learning curve. Today I just plowed ahead, chose my colors, took out my Gamsol and just went to it. I feel it came out fairly decent knowing I need more instruction and practice.
