Happy Birthday to You

Happy Weekend y'all. I have been enjoying my day preparing for our familly gathering tomorrow. My son Matt, his wife and children will be coming in from Lynchburg,Va for the weekend. My 4 other children and their families who live close by will also be joining us tomorrow. It's always great fun when we get together. The little ones just love getting "cousin time" and my children love connecting with their siblings. I just put up a sign in my Bonus Room that fits our family perfectly. It reads, " Some Call it Chaos, We call it Family"! Love it and it makes me smile everytime I see it.

Today is the last of my  Tasty Treats cards. I'm sure you are ready for that since this paper and samples have been around for several months. I haven't bought much Stampin" Up! for quite some time. I am really intent on using ALL the SUPPLIES I have on hand, even if they are not the latest and greatest.  Although so of the new stamps and papers I love, I don't do this as a business just a hobby, it's not economical or wise.

Now onto the card above.  This card was CASEd from Patty Bennetts blog. Thanks Patty! My card is an A2 size, Patty's was note size. The sentiment is from a Paper Pumpkin kit, the Icecream cone is from Taylored Expression die set (ret.). I used some sequins from another of the PP sets, SU card stock and ink. The little chocolate topping on the top of the cone was cut out with my Cricut Air.

That's about it for today. Enjoy your weekend and go do somthing you LOVE!

Happy Happy

Today is the 6th. card in my series of 7 using the SU Tasty Treats DSP. This is a gift card that I cased from Tracy Bradley's site. I loved the simplicity of the gift card holder and I can see myself using it at Christmas time and many more birthdays.

Two different stamp sets were used here. The inside sentiment is from B.Y.O.G. and the Happy, Happy is from the March 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I just love having these little extra Paper Pumpkin stamp sets. I keep them in a SU Basic 6x8 Album right next to my desk for quick and easy access.

I did use the icecream cone from Cricut Simply Charmed, some Rhinestone dots, a Square Framelit (non SU) to cut around the sentiment, and the SU 1" Circle Punch to cut the opening in the Money Holder.

That's it for today. Make it a great one and go do something you love!

You're So Sweet

Happy Saturday to y'all! Just taking time to post another birthday card I created recently. You are probably wondering at this point, why so many? We have 13 grandchildren and one great grand baby. Eight of those 14 total are girls.  I just love the this DSP , as I have said before, and feel it's the perfect paper for the girls in my life. I'll be working shortly on the boys cards which I will be using SU Animal Kingdom DSP.

The dish, chocolate topping and cherry with stem are images from my Cricut Access with the ice cream scoops from Taylored Expressions Build a Treat dies. The sentiment is from the September 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit, twine is SU (Pool Party) and so are the pearl accents.

Have a wonderful weekend. We have an Excessive Heat Warning until tomorrow evening. It really has been so, so hot. I feel like I'm living in Scottsdale, AZ again!  Stay cool, enjoy your day and go do something you LOVE.

Extra Yummy Birthday

Today is another day using SU Tasty Treats DSP.  Right now I'm obsessed with this paper!  Although I only ordered the paper and not the suite, I'm finding a sufficient amount of older stamps, dies and help from my Cricut Air to complete them.

Unfortunately,  I'm not able to list the colors of the plain cardstock I've used.  With the move, not being totally organized, and not doing many cards this past year has caused some lapse of memory. Ok, maybe it's my age :))

This is another Deconstructed Sketch - #83, the sentiment and dies are from Taylor Epressions  Build a Treat (retired), SU ribbon, candy dots, Stitched Shapes Framelits, and Scalloped edge (unknown source).

Have a wonderful Friday and weekend. Go do something you love...

Super Sweet

Here is another card crafted using the SU Crafty Treats Specialty DSP. I used the Deconstructed Sketch #45 for the layout and Taylored Epressions Fruity Friends (retired) stamp set to complete the card. I colored the cute little strawberry, which was stamped on watercolor paper, with Memomento ink then filled it in using SU makers. I also used SU Stiched Shapes and Banner Triple.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and go do something you love!

Blessings,
Bernadette

Popsicle Happy Birthday

Todays project is using Tasty Treats DSP and combining it with this cute little popsicle from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I spritzed it with a mixture of Champagne Mist (ret.) and alcohol in a SU spritzer to give it a shimmery look. The sentiment is one from the Feb. 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit.

It's being put away for one of my sweet grandchildren. I will be making a few more using this DSP today and hope to get them posted by Monday. Make it a wonderful weekend and go enjoy something you love...

Blooming with Kindness

These are Thinking of You notes I made today staying with the same design for all 10. That not only made them easy, but quick. I also CASEd them from page 56 of the 2014/2015 catalog which made them even easier to produce quickly.

Stamps: Blooming with Kindness,  Gorgeous Grunge, and one of the
sentiments from the February 2016 Paper Pumpkin.  The flower was stamped with Primrose Petal and the grunge with Baked Brown Sugar. Size: 3 1/2 ×5

Have a great weekend and do something that makes you happy!

  Blessings,
