The Thanksgiving Table

Today's project and card is something I thought would be a special little something on a Thanksgiving Holiday table.

The treat holder, minus the treat (I'm on WW and treats are not allowed in the house-smile) and a little 3x3 card. The sentiment is minus one word,"you". That was intentional. As you can see by the photo below, the space on the inside is for someone to record what they are grateful for. They are intended to be put into an album and each year a newly designed "Grateful For" card will be made and added to the others.

The little treat holder was designed design  by Dawn Griffith. Thanks, Dawn!

Here are some measurements and pictures of the project:

Base4 1/4 x 2 3/4"

Top/candy holder piece: 2 1/4" x 5 3/4" - Using your SU Score  Board, Score this piece @ 1 3/4" and 2" horizontally.
*The corners are to be rounded after you score*

The DSP for the holder:

1 5/8" x 2 1/8"(bottom) -  2 1/4" x 3 3/4" (inside)

It is best to put the dimensionals down the center, not only to allow the treat to have room, but room for the ribbonto be threaded through. You could put the ribbon on before you attach the holder, but I found it was easier for me to do it this way.

This is the side view of what the holder should look like when complete.

I hope you have a chance to try  this project sometime soon. You'll find that it goes together very quickly. If you have any questions about this project, you can contact me at: bpb4553@gmail.com.

Make it a great weekend and go do something CRAFTY my friends!

Hugs,
Bernadette
