Just a very quick post.

Our family will be having a Fishing Contest while we are in Maine and I made these Car/Gift Holders  to pass out the prize money.

The DSP is retired, but the remainder of the products are still available. I'll update this when I return.

Make it a great weekend. Stay CRAFTY my friends! Bernadette

Wedding Card - The Best Love Story -

This card is another that I created using the MOJO Monday354 sketchThis is for my son Joel and our new daughter-in-law, Kelly, who were married on Saturday up at camp.

This is another of my favorite retired papers, Eastern Elegance, which I'll be sad to see used up.  I have always loved the color combo and the beautiful patterns. The stamp set I used, One in a Million, is also retired, but will also stay in my "stamping arsenal".

Have a wonderful an fun weekend and stay CRAFTY my friends!

Sun and Sheild

Just dropping by quickly today.  We are off to New York later today on a "Red Eye" flight out of San Diego. Can I say, UGH! After a few days their visiting my hubbies family, off to Maine for our family reunion. All of our 7 children, their spouses and 8 grands will be getting together on Nicatous Lake. We are all very excited for this time together. I'll post some pictures when I get back.

Oh, did I mention, NO CELL service for 6 days while we are there?
It will be interesting, to say the least!

Today's card is a double entry.
It will be posted over on MOJO Monday354 and
Word Art Wednesday.

That's it for today. Have a great weekend and stay CRAFTY my friends!

Quick & Easy Thinking of You card

Just a quick and easy card today.  Since I needed 4 thinking of  you  cards, I CASEd this from stampingschool.com.  Of course, I added my own spin, but I used the basic layout.

The free Sale-a-bration DSP, Pool Party twine, and lacey trim were something I knew I wanted to use. I love the floral pattern on this paper. It's colors are so bright and fresh and match so well with the Pool Party base.

Have a wonderful Wednesday. I continue to get ready for our Maine/NY trip. I'm excited about seeing all my family and grandchildren, but not so much about packing! I seem to always leave that to the last minute.

Do something CRAFTY my friends!

Boys Birthday Card

I'm sorry for the shadow on this picture.
Someday I'll get a decent light box!

I needed a little boys Birthday Card for a Saturday afternoon party. I was already planning on giving money as a gift, so this quick and easy Card/Gift holder was the perfect answer. Besides, they are so much fun to put together.

I did use a retired Stampin' Up! stamp set, You're My Hero and the retired Polka Dot Parade DSP.  This will probably not be a set that I will give up very quikly.  I have already used it 3 times and can see me using it again. What little boy doesn't love firetrucks, police cars, and emergency vehicles!

If you would like the directions and measurements on this card/gift holder, just contact me at bpb4553@gmail.com
and I will be glad to send them along to you.

Have a wonderful weekend and
stay CRAFTY my friends!

Another Masculine Birthday Card

With 3 sons, 3 son-in-laws, and 4 grandsons, and my hubby, it seems I'm always in need of masculine Birthday cards!

So, I took on this challenge yesterday, FMS144, that Freshly Made Sketches posted feeling I could actually turn it masculine. Clean and simple is not the easiest for me, and I'm still not sure if this would qualify.

The new In Color, Mossy Meadow, which I used on the embossed layer, is really becoming my favorite green. It is so rich and deep. I'll have to find more papers that I can pair with it in the coming weeks.

1000 Piece Puzzle

It is a beautiful puzzle, but we probably will NOT do one again. The 500 pc. ones are much more relaxing. Heres hoping you all have a great...
