Sorry, No T.N.T. Today

I apologize that there won't be any T.N.T. Thursday project up for today. Yesterday I was dealing with Vertigo almost the whole day. I had a project planned, but didn't have thing cut or pictures taken.

Ugh! I'm really more organized then this. Usually I just need to write the post on Wednesday and upload the pictures. Not this Wednesday. So sorry.

I will be here Friday with some inspiration from a MOJO Monday sketch.

Thank you for your understanding and go have a CRAFTY day!

Just Because

Some days my creative side is taken over by the mundane everyday chores of running a household. Hence, the reason for putting up my card late today.

NEWS FLASH!

Make sure you check back later today for the Retired List from Stampin' Up! This is a BIG time of the year. You will have a chance to buy theretiredproducts,
both stamp sets and accessories, at a greatly reduced price.

My Card Information

I love the colors in this paper, but not necessarily the pattern. Every time I decide to use it, I have a mental block on what stamp to pair with it.

I just choose the stamps that I enjoy using and felt it would come together or not. I think it did. How about you?

Both stamps are from Sale-A-Bration. I think SU did a great job with their offering of products this year. The Feeling Sentimental set will be
around for a long time in my stamp library, I know.
I really love the impressionistic look.

RECIPE

Papers: Naturals White 102316 (my favorite), Daffodil Delight 119683
Island Indigo 122923, World Spectacular 126897

Stamps: Feeling Sentimental, Vintage Verses
Both are from SAB

Sweet Additions: Brights Designer Buttons 119747
 Linen Thread 104199

Argyle Folder 127750, Circles #2 Originals 114526

SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals

Sketch: CPS 262

Remember to stop by again later today to see the Retired products. You won't want to miss out.

  And remember,

Have a blessed, productive and CRAFTY DAY!

Some Craft /Office Musings

Today I will not be posting a card, but sharing some wish list ideas for my craft room. We have been living in our Motor Home since being here in California the past 3 months. Needless to say, even a 40 foot Motor Home is not ample room to house a husband, wife and
a small dog, let alone craft supplies.

Soon that will be remedied. We will be moving into a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath manufactured home in a 55+ community in San Marcos, CA by the end of May. I am so excited about having a designated area to create. It will not be a large area, but so much more then I have now.

Here is some inspirational ideas I have been gathering on Pinterest the past several weeks.

ikea desk in craft room!

Craft Room
The picture above is an Ikea piece that will fit perfectly on one end of the room. I already have a great Ikea desk chair that I will be bringing back with me from my Scottsdale home.

I would love to have this shelving unit, but I don't believe I have sufficient room on the opposite wall. The room is only 11'x 9 1/2" and the remaining two walls having a window on one and a closet and entrance door on the other.

craft room

I would also like to incorporate into the design a counter height work space like the one pictured above. I occasionally like to stand when I am putting together a card or project. Don't you just love those ladder style shelves in the background? I do, but I really don't think they would fit in anywhere.

I thought this corner desk could also work.

Craft Room Desk Design
nice!

The room above, I would have to say, would be my "Dream Room", but I am blessed to have a designated space again. I know I will need to be organized and be able to creatively use every available inch of space.

I will take pictures on the progress I am making once I get into the house and get started on the room.

If any of you have some ideas you would like to share with me on how you have decorated your craft space, I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a blessed and CRAFTY day!
