A CARD, a card!

Today I was determined that I was going to create something, anything.

My Studio B is still in a similar state that it was in the last post, but a little worse. I had to open boxes hoping that I would find what I was looking for. I did have most labeled, but not all. I managed to find my stamps and some of my ribbon. My paper was in plain site and so was my ink, cutters and adhesives. I really wanted to use Stampin' Dimensionals and the new Candy Dots on this card, but I never did find what box they were in!

I decided to follow the MOJO Monday 302 sketch. I had thoughts of making it a masculine card, but I'm not sure if it fits that category. What do you think? It's not to frilly and the colors lean towards masculine, but I'm still not confident that I would use it as one.

The photo below is a sad tale. I had completed the card and even the inside. I thought I would add a little extra on the inside, so I punched a small scallop circle with layering circle. Well, forgetting that I had an OPEN ink pad laying near by, I flipped open the top...Well you can see what happened.
It was back to square one on cutting all the layers out again.

Well, that's about it for today. Tomorrow I'm planning on looking for more
hard-case pieces to fill in my house, some art and plants. The landscaper is going to stop by with a more reasonable plan for "prettying" up the outside. I never realized how expensive of  a job that is. Every house we have bought had the landscaping in place, so it was kind of a shock.

UPDATE: I did go to IKEA last Saturday and was completely overwhelmed.
Too much merchandise and too many people. I did go with a list, but came
home empty handed! I'm really glad I did, though. I have rearranged
my room several times in my head since then and have chosen
other pieces then I had originally planned on.

Have a great weekend and try to stay CRAFTY!

Oh, isn't it so sad when those things happen...it makes you want to cry:(.
Too bad it could not be considered a grunge card with the ink accident! Anyway, your perseverance paid off with a fantastic card.
